BackWPUp plugin clashing with Elementor

We once encountered issues where a client was unable to get their Elementor Pro version 2.9.6 plugin to work on their WordPress website. It was on WordPress 5.x.

On careful troubleshooting, we found that the issue had to do with a conflict between that version of Elementor Pro and the BackWPUp plugin running on that site, and it was the latest version. This was strange and the first time we had seen the top backup plugin conflict with Elementor, but anything is possible in certain server environments.

Disabling the backup plugin solved the issue and got Elementor to load correctly again. You can use other alternative backup plugins like VaultPress or UpdraftPlus, but if disabling you beloved BackWPUp is not an option, try upgrading or downgrading your version of Elementor Pro and/or even WordPress itself.

That's it. BackWPUp can sometimes cause conflicts with Elementor Pro depending on your WordPress setup.
